Why we started Club Bagel

Although Footballers by trade, Scott & Morgan have always looked to build something of their own. With an interest in Food and Coffee, and after travelling around South East Asia last summer, they felt there was a niche in market back home.

So with some inspiration from the other side of the world and with some inside research from friends and family working within businesses and offices, it was clear that a healthy, fresh and homemade lunch option was missing. Meaning that office workers and companies were getting trapped in a cycle of ordering heavily processed foods such as meal deals and pizzas for their office lunches, conference meetings and company parties.

So with this in mind, Scott and Morgan decided on β€˜bagels’ as a healthy and fresh alternative, and soon started making and perfecting their own homemade bagels straight from their own kitchens.

Not only was a healthier alternative important to Scott and Morgan, but creating more social interactions within offices and small teams was also vital. Food brings people together, and therefore they knew that delivering boxes of bagels for offices to share and talk about was a key factor in creating more social interactions within offices.

What began as a passion project to start making something of their own, has evolved into something that has already been loved by many office workers, small teams, business owners and events organisers. With many people now tasting the difference of a homemade freshly made bagel, compared to their usual store bought lunches.

Our Goal

Therefore encouraging people to move away from the typical ultra processed foods that big food organisations persuade them to buy.”
